"Film London and BBC Films have launched the next round of Film London Microwave, the successful micro-budget feature film-making scheme. The deadline for applications is Tuesday 3 May, 2011. Microwave, which also receives support from Skillset, is a groundbreaking training through production scheme. Opening the fifth round of applications, it is challenging London-based film-makers to shoot a feature film for up to £120,000 with cash and in-kind support - up from £100,000 in previous rounds. Successful teams are awarded production funding plus a bespoke programme of mentoring, training and support.
